Lizzo couldn’t have said it better it’s “about damn time” that we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Although we are STILL waiting on furniture we ordered in August we are a few steps closer to completion. With all the delays, mishaps, and many other details that come into okay during the design process we are just grateful for this outcome. It is one of the greatest feelings to see what was once in our minds come to be. Super shout out to our very patient clients!

I think it’s important to celebrate and thank people who make a difference and help you grow. So let’s toast to one year under the books and many more to go! I watched her grow into a better designer, a more technical one, develop her eye, and blossom further into herself.

It’s been one year since I made my first hire and to be honest it was really scary for me. Navigating how to lead, financials, and teaching is no small thing for small business owners. One thing I can say about my choice in hiring her is that she never judged me when I had no idea what I was doing and she always maintains her composure when our schedule changes from day to day even when there are times it is not supposed to.

Hello! I figured I would reintroduce myself. Over the past year I have gained some new and amazing followers! I would love to share some things about me.

As a designer my strength lies in my ability to understand my clients, even with things they don’t verbally communicate, and then to take what I know and turn it into a tailored design suited to them. My second greatest strength is the power of my vision, I see rooms as complete in my mind very quickly, even before we work through the entire process.

The most challenging part in the design process for me is selecting bedding and cabinet hardware 🤣 and on a more serious note juggling all the various tasks that people don’t see.

Here are some fun facts about me:

1. I live for rainy days in the house
2. I’m a true introvert but people tend to be drawn to me even though I’m quiet
3. I’m very purpose driven and focused on things that align with my spirit

Honored to be featured in @tablemagazine. It was fun to put together a fantasy kitchen. The countertop sample is a quartzite named Alexandrita which we got from @phoenixgranite, it was the inspiration for the entire scheme. I often am attracted to a neutral palette, the countertop was a really rich and interesting way for me to get a little daring, tastefully.
